About the Mega Evolution Expansion

The original Mega Evolution set launched the entire Mega Evolution era in the Pokémon TCG. It introduced the Mega Evolution Pokémon ex card type, Mega Hyper Rares, and a new wave of Special Illustration Rares. The enhanced booster box variant — with its exclusive Bulbasaur illustration rare promo — is the most complete single product from the original set. Sealed enhanced booster boxes from the inaugural Mega Evolution expansion are highly collectible and increasingly difficult to source.
