Sell to the Vault Terms
Sell to the Vault Terms
Last updated: 29 August 2026
These terms cover selling your sealed Pokemon TCG products to Evol Vault through our Sell to the Vault service. "We", "us" and "our" mean Evol Vault, a trading name of Evol Initiative Ltd (registered in England & Wales, Company No. 14659896). By submitting items through our sell page you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. They are written to be read, not skimmed. If anything is unclear, ask us before you send anything.
1. Who Can Sell
You must be 18 or over and living in the UK to sell to us. You must own the items outright and be free to sell them. If you are selling on behalf of a business, contact us before submitting.
2. What We Buy
Everything we buy must be factory sealed and in English. We focus on Pokemon Center exclusive products and other current, high-demand sealed product.
- We do not buy opened, resealed or tampered items.
- We do not buy damaged or crushed boxes.
- We do not buy loose packs, or weighed or repacked product.
- We do not buy non-English product.
- We do not buy vintage sealed product. By vintage we mean sealed product released before 2020.
- We do not buy raw single cards or bulk lots.
- We do not currently buy graded cards. That is planned for a later phase.
Submissions must be worth at least £150 in total. We may still quote borderline submissions at our discretion, and we may decline any submission before payment. If we decline, it costs you nothing.
3. Your Quote
Quotes are free and there is no obligation to accept. We aim to send every quote within 48 hours of your submission, and most go out within 24.
Your quote is based on what your items are actually selling for at the time, together with the details and any photos you provide. It is itemised so you can see the market value and our offer for each item.
Your quote is valid for 7 days from the date we send it. Very occasionally the market moves sharply between our quote and your acceptance, by more than around 10 percent in either direction. When that happens we send a fresh quote for you to consider instead of pretending the old number still holds, and nothing ships until you are happy.
4. Sending Your Items
Please do not send anything until you have accepted a quote. Once you accept, we email you a prepaid, tracked and insured Royal Mail label, so posting costs you nothing. Print it, or show the QR code at any Post Office. If we do not already have photos of your items, we ask for a few before the label goes out, so the figure you accepted is the figure we both expect at inspection. There is nothing to pay either way, and the 5 working day posting window below starts when your label arrives.
Post within 5 working days of accepting so your price stays locked. If your parcel arrives well outside that window we may need to requote. Please include your submission reference on a note inside the parcel.
If you post on the label we send you, inside the posting window, and keep the proof of posting the Post Office gives you, the parcel is our responsibility from the moment you hand it over. We buy the cover, we deal with Royal Mail if anything goes wrong, and if the parcel is lost we pay you the figure you accepted. If you would rather use your own postage, the parcel stays your responsibility until it is signed for at our address.
Each parcel is covered to the value of the items in it. Larger submissions are sent as more than one parcel so that everything stays fully covered.
Parcels are received at our Telford location. The address is on your label and in the email that carries it.
5. Inspection & the Final Offer
Every parcel is inspected and photographed within 2 working days of arrival, and we share the inspection photos with you.
Your quote becomes our final offer once your items pass inspection. We only revise a quote when the items we receive differ from what was described, for example seal condition, damage, or a different edition or product than listed. We never revise a quote because the market moved after you posted.
If we revise an offer, you will receive our inspection photos alongside the new figure, and you are free to say no.
6. If There Is No Deal
If we cannot agree, we return your items free of charge by tracked and insured post, whatever the reason. We dispatch the return within 5 working days. There are no inspection fees, no return fees and no storage fees. Ever.
Return postage is insured up to the market value stated in your quote, up to the maximum cover our carrier provides.
One exception: if we reasonably believe an item is counterfeit or stolen, we may hold it, decline to return it and pass the matter to the relevant authorities. We will tell you what is happening and why, unless the law prevents us.
If a seller repeatedly sends items that do not match their description, we may decline their future submissions.
7. Getting Paid
We pay by bank transfer, on the same working day you accept the final offer.
We only pay the person on the ID. The name on the receiving bank account must match the name on your photo ID. We never pay in physical cash and we never pay third parties.
Acceptances that reach us after 4pm on a working day, or at a weekend, are paid the next working day.
We do not charge fees of any kind. The figure you accept is the figure that lands.
8. Store Credit & the Seller List
Store credit always pays more than cash for the same items. Your quote shows both figures so you can choose.
Store credit is issued as an Evol Vault gift card with no expiry date. It works on anything in the store, including new releases.
9. Identity Checks & Your Information
Before your first payment we ask for photo ID, a passport or UK driving licence, to make sure we pay the right person and to help keep stolen goods out of the hobby. When you send it, you are welcome to cover all but the last four characters of the document number. We only need enough to confirm and reference it.
We keep a purchase register, as responsible second-hand buyers do. It records your name, contact details, a description of the items, our photographs, the price and the date. We keep register records for six years.
We delete the image of your ID within 90 days of your first payment. The register keeps only the document type and a short reference.
Full details of how we handle your information are in our Privacy Policy.
10. Your Promises to Us
By submitting items you confirm they are genuine, factory sealed, untampered, described honestly and yours to sell, and that you are not selling for someone else. If that turns out not to be true, we may revise or withdraw an offer, return the items, or involve the authorities where the law requires it.
11. Changing Your Mind
You can change your mind at any time before we pay you. If your items are already with us, we simply send them back free under clause 6. Once we have paid you, the sale is complete and the items belong to us.
12. Our Responsibility
While your items are with us, we look after them as if they were our own stock. Our responsibility for them is limited to the market value stated in your quote.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability we cannot limit or exclude by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Changes to these terms never apply to a quote we have already sent you. Where these terms give us a choice, we will act reasonably.
Pokemon and related marks are owned by their respective rights holders (Nintendo / Game Freak / The Pokemon Company International). Evol Vault is an independent buyer and retailer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
